Full Time: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £29,344-£44,919

Your role:

• Teach engaging practical and theory-based DT lessons.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive workshop and classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to experiment.
• Lead or support specialist DT areas, depending on your expertise.
• Prepare students for practical assessments.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to support mixed-ability groups.
• Incorporate relevant design and manufacturing technologies
• Contribute to curriculum planning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.
• Promote a passion for design, engineering, and innovation, encouraging students to engage in wider enrichment opportunities such as clubs, competitions, or maker events.

Do you?:

• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe workshop/classroom environment..
• Use a variety of teaching approaches to support mixed‑ability groups.
• Hold QTS or be working toward it; other relevant qualifications

• Demonstrate strong practical skills and up-to-date knowledge of tools
