Some children don’t just need teaching. They need someone in their corner.

We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant in Lancing who understands that progress doesn’t always come from the front of the classroom. Sometimes it comes from sitting beside a pupil, explaining something a different way, or helping them believe they can try again.

In this role, you’ll support pupils in the classroom, work with small groups or 1:1, and help children stay engaged with their learning throughout the school day. Many of the pupils you support may need extra encouragement, structure, or additional learning support to help them succeed.

You might be someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people

  • Is patient, calm and encouraging

  • Enjoys helping pupils build confidence as well as academic skills

  • Can adapt to the rhythm of a busy school environment

Learning Support Assistants play a huge part in helping pupils feel supported, understood, and capable.

Salary: £92.63 - £110 (Depending on experience, qualifications and role requirments)
