About the Role

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Wendover is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, meeting the needs of all learners

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils’ confidence, curiosity, and independence

  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual development

  • Support the development of core literacy and numeracy skills through creative and interactive teaching approaches

  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing

  • Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and ongoing professional development

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1

  • A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development

  • A passion for supporting young learners during the early stages of their education

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
