KS2 Primary Teacher

Supply Desk is working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Beaconsfield (HP10) that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join them from September.

This role is well suited to an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys supporting pupils through the later stages of primary education, helping them build confidence, resilience, and strong academic skills.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of pupils across the curriculum, while creating a positive and motivating learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Creating an inclusive, well-managed, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to support all learners
• Supporting the development of literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
• Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

You may be teaching Year 3, 4, 5, or 6, depending on experience and school requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome with relevant placements)
• Secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-related expectations
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive, patient, and enthusiastic teaching approach
• Availability to start in September
• Ability to commute to Hazlemere, HP15
