Teaching Assistant Needed ASAP – Worthing

Supply Desk is currently working with a number of mainstream schools in Worthing to provide additional support for children within the classroom. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about education and have a genuine drive to help children achieve their full potential. 

We offer a range of opportunities, from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, supporting pupils across different age groups and subjects. 

 

We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including: 

  • Sports coaching 

  • Youth work 

  • Volunteer work 

  • Support work 

  • Childcare or previous Teaching Assistant experience 

  • Scout/Guide leaders or similar roles working with young people 

 

As a Teaching Assistant in Worthing, you will: 

  • Support children 1:1 or in small groups to aid their learning, development, and confidence 

  • Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and general classroom responsibilities 

  • Help prepare and set up learning resources and activities 

  • Provide positive, proactive support for pupils with additional needs 

  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as clubs or sports where required
