The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, confidence, and personal development. You will work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support to pupils who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to individuals and small groups
• Help remove barriers to learning and promote pupil confidence
• Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
• Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils and staff
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Enthusiastic, patient, and approachable
• Passionate about supporting children and young people
• Adaptable and proactive in the classroom
• Interested in pursuing a career in education or youth work
• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
