Salary: £34,000–£56,000+

In this role, you will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students’ literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and appreciation of English Language and Literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3–5, covering English Language, Literature, and creative writing.
• Monitor student progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted support.
• Encourage a passion for reading, writing, and analytical thinking.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

• A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• A genuine passion for English education and helping young people succeed.
