A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from September 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and differentiate lessons to accommodate diverse abilities and foster active participation.
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear, constructive feedback.
  • Lead and contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions.
  • Champion health, fitness, and wellbeing within the school community.
  • Participate actively in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience teaching PE at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Effective organisational and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
