Are you a passionate and driven Science Teacher seeking a new role in the coming term? A highly regarded secondary school in the High Wycombe area is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful Science Teacher will join a well-established department with excellent laboratory facilities and a shared focus on delivering engaging, practical science lessons that spark curiosity and ambition in every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching available

  • Teach your Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) while supporting the wider department

  • Adapt teaching strategies to stretch high achievers and support students requiring additional guidance

  • Use data effectively to inform planning and raise student attainment

  • Lead practical investigations safely and confidently within a laboratory setting

  • Support intervention sessions and revision workshops ahead of GCSE examinations

  • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to enhance curriculum development

The Ideal Science Teacher Will:

  • Hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

  • Be an enthusiastic Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge

  • Demonstrate effective classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships

  • Show commitment to continuous professional development and whole-school initiatives
