Daily Rate: £130–£145 per day for daily supply; long-term roles paid to scale

We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply MFL Teacher (Secondary) to support schools in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. Applications are warmly welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring Modern Foreign Languages specialist with a passion for developing students’ confidence and communication skills? We are looking for a dedicated Supply MFL Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and well-structured MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow each school’s curriculum
• Teach one or more modern foreign languages, including French, Spanish, or German
• Encourage students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents where required
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching MFL within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across MFL curriculum areas
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
