Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)

A well-regarded primary school in St Albans is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its team from September 2026. This long-term opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a meaningful impact within Key Stage 2.

The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will create an engaging and inspiring classroom environment that promotes independence, resilience, and strong academic progress. You will support pupils in developing the skills and confidence needed as they move through the later stages of primary education.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Deliver high-quality teaching in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Confident classroom management and reflective practice.
• A genuine passion for children’s academic and personal development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
