Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)

A well-regarded primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join its team from April 2026. This long-term opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to make a meaningful impact in Lower Key Stage 2.

The Role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that helps pupils build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Lower KS2 curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to support a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects including reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Contribute to school activities and the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable).
• Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and reflective practice.
• A genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
