We’re seeking enthusiastic, qualified Secondary Science Teachers with both PPA and non-PPA options available to join our supply team across Worthing and the surrounding areas. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism welcome) Inspire students to develop strong scientific knowledge, curiosity, and practical skills Support pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team Follow school behaviour management and safeguarding procedures What We OfferCompetitive daily rate: £120 - £130 PAYE weekly pay - No Agency Fees - Keep what you earn! Flexible placements across Worthing schools Professional development and access to CPD Learning Hub Supportive, collaborative school environments Opportunities across KS3 and KS4 Candidate RequirementsA degree in Science or a closely related subject (essential) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred) Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 A genuine enthusiasm for Science and the ability to make lessons engaging and accessible for all learners Strong classroom management and communication skills Safeguarding:Supply Desk is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
