Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £90–£120 per day


The Opportunity

A welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Hemel Hempstead is seeking two dedicated EYFS Level 3 Practitioners to join their team from February 2026. Due to recent team changes, the setting is looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about early years education.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team in a conveniently located setting, ideal for candidates based in Hemel Hempstead and nearby areas.


About the Role

In this role, you will contribute to delivering high-quality Early Years provision, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and develop.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support observations, assessments, and learning records
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support each child’s development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with the day-to-day running of the setting

What We’re Looking For

  • A full Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Experience in a nursery or Reception class setting
  • A positive, caring attitude and genuine enthusiasm for early development
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach

Interview Process

  • Child Interaction Task (30–40 minutes): Leading a short activity with a child
  • Formal Interview: With the Nursery Manager and leadership team
