Understanding it helps students think critically.

As a Media Studies Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons exploring media platforms, analysis, and production.

Key responsibilities
Teach Media Studies at KS4
Analyse media texts and case studies
Support practical media projects
Prepare students for coursework and exams
Develop critical thinking skills
Track progress and provide feedback

The classroom environment
Lessons are engaging and structured
Students analyse real media examples
Behaviour is focused
Participation is consistent

Skills and experience
Media or related subject knowledge
Creative and analytical skills
Organisation and planning
Confident classroom management

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with media or creative backgrounds
