Salary: £29,344–£44,919

As a Law Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons covering legal systems, case law, and key principles across KS4 and KS5.

Key responsibilities
Teach Law at KS4 and KS5
Explain legal systems, criminal law, and civil law
Use case studies to build understanding
Support essay writing and exam preparation
Track progress and provide feedback
Maintain structured lessons

The classroom environment
Lessons are structured and analytical
Students apply knowledge to scenarios
Behaviour is focused and mature
Learning is purposeful

Skills and experience
Strong Law or legal knowledge
Clear explanation skills
Organisation and planning
Confident classroom management

What success looks like
Students apply legal principles correctly
Written work improves
Confidence grows in analysis

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with legal backgrounds
