Primary Supply SEN Teacher - Exciting Opportunity in Worthing 

Location: Worthing, West Sussex 
Contract Type: Supply, (Short-Term with potential of going Long Term) 
Start Date: September 2026 
Salary: £120 - £140 per day 

About the Role: 
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teacher with SEN experience to work across our schools in Worthing and the surrounding local areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher with a strong background in primary education to make a real difference. 

As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for teaching across year groups, ensuring that lessons run smoothly in the absence of the permanent class teacher.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. 

  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused learning environment. 

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual class needs and learning objectives. 

  • Collaborate with the school’s leadership team to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing educational progress. 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. 

  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum. 

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting with excellent classroom management skills. 

  • Ability to inspire and engage students in their learning journey. 

  • Commitment to nurturing every child’s potential, ensuring all students reach their academic goals. 

  • Have experience with in a SEN/SEMH school setting

 

Desirable Attributes: 

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to teaching. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both with staff and pupils. 

  • Previous experience working in diverse and inclusive school communities.
