Location: Salisbury
Hours: Full-time (term-time)
Start: ASAP / September
Pay: £168 – £232 per day

We are looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Salisbury area. This long-term role offers the opportunity to teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while supporting students to become curious, analytical and confident learners.

You will contribute to a positive school culture where students are encouraged to achieve academically and grow personally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students in developing analytical and enquiry skills
• Planning engaging and differentiated lessons
• Monitoring progress and supporting student achievement
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Encouraging curiosity about environmental and global issues
• Contributing to departmental planning and initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Creative and adaptable teaching approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and student progress
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
