Pay: £168 – £232 per day

We are seeking a committed PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 while promoting confidence, teamwork and positive participation in sport.

You will play an important role in creating a motivating and inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging participation, teamwork and resilience
• Supporting students of all abilities to achieve success
• Promoting healthy lifestyles and physical wellbeing
• Contributing to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
• Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Supporting extracurricular sports clubs and school events

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Positive, proactive and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
