Your Role at a Glance

As a Reception Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational journey of children aged 4–5. Your mission: to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support holistic development and lay the foundations for lifelong success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver exciting, imaginative lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and interactive classroom where confidence and independence can flourish
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using insights to inform and adapt your teaching
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to create a strong, supportive learning community
  • Create a nurturing environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a passionate and committed teacher who brings energy, creativity, and compassion into the classroom.

You’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working within an EYFS or Reception classroom
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and principles of child development
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
  • A love for early years teaching and the ability to inspire young learners every day
