Position: Full-Time Behaviour Support Assistant Supply Desk is a well-established education recruitment agency specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We partner with a wide range of schools across East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton & Hove, providing reliable and high-quality support staff and teachers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join supportive school settings in Eastbourne on a full-time basis. About the Role Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for empathetic and resilient Behaviour Support Assistants to work full-time in schools across Peacehaven. This role involves supporting pupils who may experience challenges with behaviour, communication, sensory processing, or emotional regulation. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, understood, and engaged in their learning by working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to provide consistent and nurturing support. Key Duties • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. Requirements • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs) in schools, care, or youth settings.
