About the Role

We are seeking a Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Maths to join a supportive secondary school in Portsmouth starting September 2026.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching career within a structured and collaborative environment. You will teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and help them develop confidence and competence in the subject.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths

• Passionate about inspiring students and improving outcomes

• Willingness to engage fully with the ECT programme and CPD opportunities

• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
