Pay: £168.80 – £250 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Supply Desk is seeking a motivated Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Southampton. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5

  • Incorporate practical and real-world business examples into lessons

  • Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Maintain a safe and focused classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment

  • Uphold consistent behaviour expectations and school policies

  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies

  • Ability to motivate and support students with diverse abilities

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
