About the Role

You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to learn. Working alongside a collaborative staff team, you will help deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum that promotes curiosity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
  • Promote pupils’ wellbeing and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be an enthusiastic and reflective KS1 practitioner
  • Demonstrate strong and positive behaviour management strategies
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s academic and emotional development
  • Have high expectations for all learners
  • Be an excellent communicator and team player
  • Hold QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
