  • Deliver fun, fast paced Food Tech lessons students love
  • Run engaging hands on practicals that build real life skills
  • Adapt lessons, ingredients and equipment for all abilities
  • Teach excellent food hygiene, safety and organisation
  • Build confidence through creativity, teamwork and independence
  • Develop strong food & nutrition vocabulary
  • Assess practical and written work with clear, supportive feedback
  • Keep the kitchen calm, purposeful and well managed

The ideal candidate:

  • QTS desirable (unqualified teachers welcome)
  • Loves practical, face‑to‑face learning
  • Confident managing a busy kitchen classroom
  • Positive, organised and adaptable
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative DT team
  • Passionate about Food Tech as a core life skill
