Salary: £22,344 – £44,919

We’re working with a secondary school looking for an English Teacher who enjoys the craft of teaching just as much as the subject itself. You’ll be teaching KS3 and KS4, supporting students of mixed abilities, and helping them build confidence in reading, writing and spoken language.

What you’ll actually be doing:

Teaching English across KS3–KS4

Planning purposeful, engaging lessons

Supporting students to structure ideas clearly

Encouraging discussion, debate and curiosity

Assessing progress and giving feedback that makes sense

What matters most here:

QTS is desirable, not essential

Experience teaching secondary‑age pupils

Strong classroom presence

A calm, organised and adaptable approach
