About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Physical Disabilities. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in very small groups (maximum of two), helping them access learning, regulate emotions and develop confidence. The role is based within the school’s nurturing support provision (“The Pod”), designed to help children build the skills they need to reintegrate into their mainstream classroom successfully. This is a full‑time position starting in September 2026, with the school keen to offer a permanent contract to the right candidate.
