Salary: £29,344–£44,919

As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help students understand key theories and research methods.

Key responsibilities
Teach Psychology at KS4 and/or KS5
Cover key theories, research, and case studies
Support exam preparation and essay writing
Develop analytical and evaluation skills
Track progress and provide feedback
Maintain structured lessons

The classroom environment
Lessons are focused and discussion-led
Students engage with real research
Behaviour is mature and consistent
Learning is structured

Skills and experience
Strong Psychology subject knowledge
Ability to explain complex concepts
Clear communication
Organisation and planning

What success looks like
Students apply theories correctly
Written work improves
Confidence grows in analysis

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Psychology or social science backgrounds
