You arrive knowing exactly what your expectations are — and what the school expects from you. Lessons begin on time. Routines are embedded. Students know how the room works before you even speak.

Your role here is not to fight behaviour, but to teach.

Across the week, you will work with mixed‑ability classes, delivering structured, purposeful lessons that prioritise clarity, consistency, and measurable progress. You will plan lessons carefully, not to impress, but to ensure students understand what they are learning and why it matters.

What You Will Actually Be Responsible For

You will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons with clear learning objectives

  • Assess work regularly and use feedback to drive progress
  • Maintain accurate records of attainment and engagement
  • Contribute to planning discussions and curriculum refinement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues rather than in isolation
