How Maths Is Taught Here

• Lessons are structured. Language is precise. Students are taught modelling, reasoning, and independent problem‑solving explicitly.
• You will:
• Teach Maths primarily at KS4
• Break down complex concepts systematically
• Reinforce key methods and mathematical language
• Support students with exam technique and confidence
• Expectations are clear for both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver KS4 Maths lessons aligned with GCSE specifications
• Plan lessons that build competence and independence
• Identify gaps in understanding and address them directly
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and intervention
• Maintain consistent classroom routines
• Promote resilience and logical thinking
• Work collaboratively within the Maths department
