We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Southampton area. This is a long-term position starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons and make a real impact on student progress and achievement.

You will play a key role in fostering a positive and aspirational learning environment where all students are encouraged to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Inspiring students to develop confidence and problem-solving skills
• Contributing to curriculum planning and development
• Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment
• Driving improvement within the Maths department

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
• Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students
• A proactive, enthusiastic and reflective approach
• Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
