Supply Desk is working with a thriving and supportive secondary school in Flackwell Heath, seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join their team full-time from May. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 in a school that values curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.

The Role

This is more than just teaching — it’s about bringing Geography to life. From tectonic processes and climate systems to globalisation and human geography, you’ll inspire students to understand the world around them and their place within it.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver dynamic Geography lessons across KS4 and KS5
  • Encourage students to think critically about sustainability, environmental change, and global development
  • Use real-world case studies to deepen understanding of physical and human geography
  • Create an engaging classroom where debate, enquiry, and exploration are at the forefront
  • Support students in developing analytical and evaluative skills essential for exam success

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can turn complex geographical concepts into engaging and accessible learning experiences.

You’ll ideally:

  • Have strong subject knowledge across physical and human Geography
  • Be confident teaching up to KS5
  • Hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
  • Bring energy, creativity, and a passion for the subject
  • Be able to inspire students to think beyond the classroom and engage with global issues
  • Have strong classroom management and a collaborative mindset
