Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Princes Risborough, seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a Key Stage 2 class and play a key role in preparing pupils for the important transition into Year 6.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum
  • Stretch and challenge pupils while supporting all abilities to reach their full potential
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where learning is both enjoyable and purposeful
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class
  • Provide targeted support and interventions to help pupils progress academically and personally

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a teacher who brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for Key Stage 2 education.

You’ll ideally:

  • Hold QTS, PGCE, or equivalent (unqualified teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Have experience teaching within KS2
  • Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be positive, proactive, and committed to making a difference
