The Role

Starting in September 2026, this full-time Art & Photography Teacher role offers the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. You’ll deliver engaging lessons across both disciplines, encouraging creativity, technical skill, and self-expression while supporting students in building confidence in their artistic abilities. For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Art and Photography lessons
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and skill development
  • Support students’ academic and personal growth
  • Collaborate with the wider Creative Arts department
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in both Art and Photography
  • A genuine passion for creative education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
