Primary Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Opportunity
Location: Worthing
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term | Full-Time
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Pay: £13.70 – £14.66 per hour

A friendly and supportive primary school in Worthing is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils across the primary age range within a caring and inclusive school environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning by:

  • Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging daily lessons

  • Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of pupils

  • Helping to create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Supporting with lesson preparation and general classroom duties

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil wellbeing

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for working with primary-aged children

  • Has previous school experience (desirable but not essential)

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and adaptability

  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one
