Classroom Support Assistant – Primary Schools 

Location: Worthing & Surrounding Areas 

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Start Dates 

Daily Rate: £92.63 – £110 

Hours: School hours (typically 08:30–15:30)

We’re looking for caring, reliable Classroom Support Assistants to join our team in Worthing and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re seeking full‑time work or flexible day‑to‑day placements, we’ll match you with primary schools where your support truly matters. 

  

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Assisting teachers with lessons, activities, and daily classroom routines 

  • Supporting pupils one‑to‑one or in small groups 

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment 

  • Supporting children with additional needs and adapting to different learning styles 

  • Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and participation 

  • Working closely with teachers and staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing 

  

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience working with children (school or childcare experience is a bonus) 

  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach 

  • Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
