Supply Desk are seeking a Deputy Manager for a Nursery in Southampton

£120-£130 per day depending on experience

Location – Southampton

Hours – Full time wither 8-5 or 9-6 5 days a week

Job Description:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children from the ages of 3 months -4 years,  in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children.
• Be trained to be a Deputy Safe Guarding Lead within the Nursery
• Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure each child’s needs are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and development.
• Manage a small staff to ensure children are well looked after and planned for

What you will need:

• A relevant qualification in early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding practices.
