PE Teacher – North Dorset

Location: North Dorset
Hours: 4 days per week (term-time)
Start: ASAP
Fixed term until end of July
Pay: £168-£232

We are seeking a PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the North Dorset area. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards health and fitness.

You will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging participation across a wide range of sports and activities
• Promoting positive attitudes towards health, fitness and wellbeing
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting extracurricular sport and enrichment opportunities
• Upholding the school’s values of respect, ambition and achievement

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
• Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ overall development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
