The Role

This role is about more than delivering lessons — it’s about empowering students through performance, creativity, and collaboration.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-impact, practical Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Use devising, improvisation, scripted work, and performance techniques to engage learners
  • Create a safe, expressive space where students take risks and find their voice
  • Develop students’ confidence, collaboration, physicality, and communication skills
  • Support and contribute to school productions, showcases, and extracurricular Drama clubs
  • Use creative assessment and differentiation to support progress for all abilities

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Drama Teacher who can ignite passion and enthusiasm in students of all abilities.

You will:

  • Hold QTS, PGCE, ECT status, or equivalent
    (unqualified teachers with relevant experience considered)
  • Have recent experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and subject knowledge
  • Be creative, energetic, and confident leading practical lessons
  • Be available to start in May
