Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Aylesbury? Our welcoming secondary schools across the area are seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to provide high‑quality classroom supervision and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education who enjoys working with young people and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The Role:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged
  • Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students with their learning where appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a school-based role
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confident, professional, and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people’s education
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
