Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 per year

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher ready to make a meaningful impact in a Year 4 classroom? We are seeking a dynamic, child-centred Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community in Hughenden from May 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during an important stage of their KS2 journey, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong learning foundations.

About the Role

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging teaching and learning that meets the needs of all pupils. You will create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment where children feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to a broad and balanced KS2 curriculum, supporting pupils to develop core skills, resilience, and a love of learning.

• A passionate and reflective KS2 practitioner, confident teaching Year 4
• Skilled in adaptive teaching, differentiation, and supporting mixed‑ability learners
• Confident in applying positive behaviour management strategies
• Committed to high expectations, raising attainment, and pupil progress
• Supportive of pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• An effective communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
• Eager to engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and contribute to whole‑school life
