Salary: £29,344-£44,919

Purpose of the Role

This role focuses specifically on KS3 Mathematics, building strong numerical foundations and preparing students for future success at GCSE level.

Core Duties

• Deliver Maths lessons to KS3 classes
• Teach number, algebra, geometry, ratio, and problem‑solving
• Identify learning gaps and plan intervention strategies
• Maintain clear routines and high behaviour expectations
• Track student attainment and progress over time
• Adapt teaching strategies for mixed‑ability groups

Skills Required

• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and logically
• Strong subject knowledge
• Calm, consistent classroom presence
• Data‑led approach to progress
