Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with diverse learning needs by employing tailored teaching strategies that accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Foster independence and social development through interactive and collaborative activities, creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Attend to pupils’ personal care and medical needs, ensuring a safe, nurturing space that promotes their well-being and comfort.
  • Promote health and well-being by implementing programmes and activities that encourage physical activity, healthy habits, and emotional resilience.
  • Enhance pupils’ literacy and numeracy skills through targeted interventions and personalised approaches, supporting their academic progress across the curriculum.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years or Key Stage 1 is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Dedicated to continuous professional development and passionate about teaching.
  • Committed to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
  • Possesses professional references and an Enhanced DBS check.
