History Teacher – Harrow
Location: Harrow
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £150–£220 per day (depending on experience)

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in History or a related subject
- Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- A passion for historical enquiry and critical thinking
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Encourage analytical thinking and student discussion
- Assess, track, and support student progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning within the Humanities department
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Interview Process:
- Lesson Observation: Deliver a sample History lesson
- Formal Interview: With the Head of Department and SLT
