History Teacher – Harrow

Location: Harrow
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £150–£220 per day (depending on experience)

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in History or a related subject
• Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• A passion for historical enquiry and critical thinking
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Encourage analytical thinking and student discussion
• Assess, track, and support student progress
• Contribute to curriculum planning within the Humanities department
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Interview Process:

• Lesson Observation: Deliver a sample History lesson
• Formal Interview: With the Head of Department and SLT
