Salary: £29,344–£44,919

As an ICT/Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver clear, structured lessons covering both theoretical and practical skills.

Key responsibilities
Teach ICT and Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
Cover programming, systems, and digital literacy
Deliver practical computing lessons
Support GCSE coursework and exam prep
Maintain organised and structured lessons
Track student progress

The classroom environment
Lessons are structured and practical
Students follow step-by-step processes
Behaviour is consistent
Learning is focused

Skills and experience
Strong IT or computing knowledge
Ability to teach programming basics
Clear instruction skills
Organisation and classroom control

What success looks like
Students complete tasks independently
Technical skills improve
Confidence grows over time

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with IT or computing backgrounds
