Are you an experienced and compassionate Primary & SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with a range of learning needs? Our welcoming school in Radlett is seeking a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of children across both mainstream primary and SEN provision.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an inclusive environment where every child is valued. You will deliver engaging, differentiated teaching and targeted support to help pupils access the curriculum, achieve their full potential, and develop key communication, social, and life skills.

About the role:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching and targeted support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including non-verbal learners.
  • Plan, deliver and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), using appropriate and alternative communication strategies where required.
  • Create an inclusive, engaging and supportive classroom environment, working collaboratively with support staff and wider school teams.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing clear and consistent feedback to the SENCO and relevant teaching staff.
  • Promote independence, communication and social development, helping pupils build essential life and learning skills.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not essential, although it is desirable.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties).
  • A patient, empathetic and flexible approach to teaching and support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and meeting the individual needs of every child.
  • An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory professional references.
  • Full-time, stable position in a supportive school.
