We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Chichester area. This long-term role offers an immediate or September start, providing the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and support students in developing a strong understanding of scientific principles.

You will play a key role in creating an engaging learning environment where curiosity is encouraged and students are supported to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Encouraging curiosity, investigation and critical thinking
• Contributing to curriculum planning and delivery
• Monitoring student progress and implementing targeted interventions
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Creating a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment
• Supporting departmental and whole-school initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge across Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to engage and challenge learners of all abilities
• A proactive and adaptable teaching approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
