Nursery Nurse (Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Southampton
Hours: Full-time 
Start: ASAP
Pay: £14 – £16 per hour (DOE)

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse looking for your next role?
Are you a Level 3 EYFS qualified practitioner passionate about supporting children in their early years?

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a friendly early years setting in the Southampton area. This is a full-time, temporary position running until July, with the possibility of longer-term opportunities.

You will play an important role in supporting children’s development, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting babies and pre-school children in daily routines
• Working with small groups to encourage learning and development
• Creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment
• Supporting children’s wellbeing and safeguarding needs
• Assisting with EYFS-focused activities
• Building strong relationships with children and colleagues
• Encouraging creativity, play and engagement

What We’re Looking For:

• CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years
• Experience working within an early years setting
• Good understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Passion for supporting young children’s development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive and nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
