Daily Rate: £90 – £120 (dependent on experience)
Our agency is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes, seeking a confident and compassionate Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner passionate about supporting children during the crucial early stages of their education.
About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s early development and fostering a positive, stimulating learning environment. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver high-quality Early Years provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a creative and purposeful EYFS curriculum
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development
- Provide nurturing support that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence
- Assist in monitoring and recording children’s progress
- Organise resources and maintain an inviting, safe classroom environment
- Build constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies appropriate to Early Years settings
Candidate Profile
- Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within an Early Years environment
- Strong understanding of early child development and the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication skills with a patient, supportive manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Confidence in applying behaviour strategies that support emotional and social development
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two relevant professional references
- Eligibility to work in the UK
