The Role

A forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Science & ICT Teacher to join their team from September. This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The role will involve delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, equipping students with essential digital, computational and problem-solving skills for modern learning and future careers.

The school is open to discussing full-time opportunities for candidates who offer flexibility or an additional subject specialism.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science & ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider development of the Computing curriculum
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department
  • Engage with wider school life, including events and parent communication

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence with current technologies
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant UK experience will also be considered
